MCE as sub consultant to CPCS of Canada is participating in a study to produce Banking Feasibility Study (BFS) documents which demonstrate the socio-economic and political viability for the planned construction of railway which will form the connection of Railway between The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian and The Republic of Sudan with a total of 1512kms (594Kms in Ethiopia and 918Kms in Sudan)

MCE as a sub consultant to Sering Ingeneria of Italy, is undertaking Drainage master Plan preparation for the City of Addis Ababa. MCE’s input includes Assessment of Drainage conditions, GIS mapping, land surveying Environmental study and structural survey and study.

MCE with a contract with Ethiopian Roads Authority is supervising construction of a total of 42km road in one of the hottest places on earth and a tourist site.

MCE with a contract with Ethiopian Roads Authority is supervising construction of 90km road from Gashena to historic town of Lalibela. The road is an asphalt road aimed to boost trade and tourism activities in Lalibela and neighbouring towns.

With a contract with Ethiopian Roads Authority, MCE has is undertaking construction supervision of Zarima-Mytsebri Road Upgrading project. The project covers 145kms. It also includes a 247m bridge.

MCE has undertaken design of 48 kmroad with a contract with Ethiopian Roads Authority. The project is located in the southern part of Ethiopia.

MCE in JV with Voyants Solutions has perfomed a conceptual design of of 140km design project. The project is found in southern part of Ethiopia4.

MCE has signed a consulting service agreement with ERA for the study Chereti-Gorbekesa-Gordamole road project with an approximate length 290kms. The road is a potentially important inter-zonal link and serves the populated districts in Amhara Regional state. MCE’s service includes, route selection, traffic studies, Economic evaluation, EIA studies, Preliminary Engineering design Preparation, Final Detail Design, Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), Tender document Preparation.

MCE’s service includes, route selection, traffic studies, Economic evaluation, EIA studies, Preliminary Engineering design Preparation, Final Detail Design, Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), Tender document Preparation.

The City Administration of Dessie in its effort to raise standards of roads has employed MCEas a lead firm to undertake Consultancy Service for the preparation of the designs, specifications, bills of quantities, preparation of bidding documents, bid evaluation as well as supervision and management of the three bridges.

MCEas a lead firm has undertaken Consultancy Service for design and construction supervision of Jimma New Gravel Road. The work includes review of existing documents, provide design modifications, detailed design, preparation of bill of quantities, and tender document preparation, bid evaluation and construction supervision. The road has an estimated length of 9 kms.

MCEas a lead firm is providing consultancy services for the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of JimmaTowan Asphalt Roads Project. The Total length of the roject is 12.75 Kms. The service includes preparation of detailed design, quantities and specifications and administering the contract construction.

MCEas a lead firm is undertaking Consultancy Service for the detailed Engineering Design and Construction Supervision of the Addis Modjo Road Periodic Maintenance Project. The road is about 70 Km asphalt road a crucial route for transportation and tourism sectors.

MCEas a lead firm has undertaken Consultancy Service for the detailed Engineering Design and Construction Supervision of the Modjo- Awassa Road Periodic Maintenance Project. The road is about 205 Km asphalt road a crucial route for transportation and tourism sectors.

MCEin Joint venture with National as a lead firm is undertaking Consultancy Service for Feasibility and EIA study, Detail Engineering Design, Preparation of Resettlement Action Plan and Tender document for Aykel-Zufan-Angereb Road Project. The total length of the project is 2.5 kms asphalt road.

MCEis undertaking Detailed Feasibility and EIA studies; Detailed Engineering Design; Resettlement Action Plan; Preparation of Tender Documents for Mazoria – Durame – Durgi – Omo road Project. The total length of the project is about 95 kms.

MCEas a lead firm has undertaken Consultancy Service for the detailed Engineering Design and Construction Supervision of Asphalt roads in Bishoftu Town. The total length of the project is 2.5 kms asphalt road.

MCEundertaking Detailed Engineering Design, Construction Supervision and Contract administration of Asphalt roads in Jimma Town. The total length of the project is 12.74 Kms asphalt road.

MCE in association with National Engineers is undertaking a road construction supervision project covering a total of 122.7 kms out of which about 4Kms asphalt road the remaining gravel road for design of AssosaKurmuk Road Project a total of 100 Kms.

MCE in Joint venture with CORE consulting Engineers is undertaking the Wolkite-Hosaena Road construction supervision. The road is 125 Kms gravel road.

MCE in Joint venture with CORE consulting Engineers has undertaken the Adigoshu-Lugdi road construction supervision. The road is 120 Kms asphalt road.

A contract was signed between The Ethiopian Roads Authority and Joint venture of Arabian Consulting Engineering Services and MCE for design of Assosa Kurmuk Road Project a total of 100 Kms. The contract also include construction supervision of the road.

MCE in Joint venture with CORE consulting Engineers completed design of road maintenance of a 300 Km NekemtBure Project.

MCEin association with CORE Consulting Engineers completed Design of two roads, DejenMota and Debark AdiArkay Road projects. The two roads have total length of 40 Kms each.

MCEin association with Daret Engineering is working on construction supervision of an 11 Kms asphalt road.

MCE completed design of road from Gutten to Fincha a 140 kilometre road. The service include survey, environmental study, contract document preparation an supervision works.

MCE in joint venture Kocks Consult GmbH of Germany complted review of feasibility study and design ofroad from Gondar to Debark. It is a 102 Km road. The service includes economic study, socio-economic studies and survey.

A contract was signed between The Ethiopian Roads Authority and MCE completed supervision of the Shashemene – Alaba Road maintenance work which is 50 km long and with a contract completion of period.

Under a contract to Ethiopian Roads Authority, MCEcompleted undertaking the condition survey, design amendments and construction supervision of the subject 60Km road periodic maintenance project. The conditions of 5 Bridges along the route have also been studied

Ethiopian Roads Authority and MCE, as a sole consultant, successfully completed construction supervision of the 78Km asphalt project, which is located in Oromia Regional State. The work includes construction supervision and making some design amendments of 5 Bridges and other drainage structure works as well as the earthwork, and pavement works.

MCEundertook with a contract the Oromia National State to provide consultancy services for the detail engineering design of the subject road project of a 61 km Road design project, located in the Oromia Regional State. The Design works include the design of several bridges including Wabe River Bridge and culverts as well. Wabe River is one of the major two tributaries of Wabi-Shebele River.

MCEin association with Kocks Consult, Germany under a contract with the Ethiopian Roads Authority undertook a consultancy services for the detail engineering design of the subject road project of a 225 km Road design project, located in the Oromia Regional State. The Design works include the detail engineering design of several Bridges.

MCE is undertook the Construction Supervision of this 72 Km. Road Project. It will be built to a feeder road standard. The project started towards the end of 2001 and will take 30 months to complete it.

In association with SMEC of Australia MCE completed project on developing the system for Addis Ababa City Roads Authority.

MCE completed detailed engineering design of 110 km of Kobo-Lalibela Road Rehabilitation project. The study included rehabilitation of the existing road, tender document preparation and land acquisition plan preparation

MCE completed the design review and construction supervision of Chifra – Wekishet Rural Road Project.

MCE supported the African Development Bank in conducting pre-appraisal of agricultural marketing services development through the deployment of an infrastructure engineer, and caring the rural marketing infrastructure development component (upgrading rural feeder roads and market centres).

MCE was engaged in the supervision of Gewane – Mille Road Project study with Sheladia Associates Inc. The work included rehabilitation of the existing road to a two lane asphalt concrete standard with a 7 meter carriage way width and 1.5 meter shoulders over an approximate length of 145 km. In addition, improvement to the drainage system and structures along the route, formed part of the work components.

In association with SMEC of Australia, MCE completed project to prepare manuals for highway design, bridge design, pavement design and contract documents for Addis Ababa City Roads Authority.

MCE in association with KOCKS CONSULT GMbH completed the Feasibly Study of the NekempteAssosa, Dembi-Gambela, Nazareth – Dodola – goba, Woreta – Woldiya, Gondar – Bereb River, Adigrat – Adwa and Dera – Mechara roads.

Under contract to the South Region Rural Road’s Authority, MCE carried out detailed engineering design and tender document preparation for GemesoKenera – Chulura – Titcha Road Project. The road was 40 – 50 km long.

Under contract to Oromia Rural Roads Authority, MCE was engaged in the survey, detail design and preparation of tender document of 60 km rural road.

MCE was involved in the survey, design and supervision of the access road for Asela Water Supply system from Sagure to Ashebeka Water Intake connecting Digelu village. The study was financed by The Regional State of Oromia Water, Mineral & Energy Resources Development Bureau. The road length was 15 km.

MCE in association with Sheladia Associates of USA was engaged in the preparation of survey and design of the upgrading of 250 km, Gondar – Humera Road. The road was planned to be upgraded to a feeder road standard.

MCE was engaged by the Ethio-Italian Development Co-operation, Arsi-Bale Rural Development Project for the survey, design and construction supervision of Arboye – Tibila Road. The design and construction supervision work of the road was completed to RR50 standard. The total length of the road was 38 km.The project was financed by the Italian Government.

Under contact to Tigray Agricultural Development Bureau, MCE undertook the study of rural development programs for 5 woredas taking into account various infrastructure including 213 km roads connecting the woreda capital urban centres. The work for the road part included route selection and assessment of the different drainage and crossing structures to assess the feasibility of the road net work.
